Hey,

I'm doing some research about methods for getting your backlinks indexed by Google. Please share your most effective method. Thanks a bunch.

Social bookmarking seems to work, digg, or sumbleupon. Even delicious. Could also put them in an rss feed and send it off to some directories.

I've always found pinging, then mass social bookmarking has always done the trick!

Nice thread title!! :p I PMed someone earlier today asking me this same question... So I'm just going to copy and paste what I sent!

DON'T READ TOO MUCH INFO OVERLOAD! Lol!

That's what happened to me anyways when I was first starting out. I read EVERYTHING under the sun - this technique and that technique and blah. Finally, I took some action... Took some time but figured out what works for me. You'll do the same.

I also like to use Ping.fm and Onlywire for Social Bookmarking. What I do with Social Bookmarking sites is just grab the URL to my profile that has ALL of my bookmarks (digg.com/username) and ping/rss feed those URLs.

I've got a list of like 140 sites I ping with the SEO Fast Indexer (replaced the ping sites in the .txt file), I also replaced the 30k list with only 750 meta indexing sites. I like that number for some reason.

I will ping and meta index all the backlinking URLs after a day or two (or three) of backlink building, then add THOSE URLs to an EVEN larger list I call "AlreadyPinged.txt"

If I create an RSS Feed out of the links (about 75 URLs per feed) I'll ping and meta index that feed and of course submit it to like 10 RSS aggregators. Links2RSS.com works pretty good. My rule of thumb is no more than 100 links in one RSS Feed.

Typically I'll only ping the URLs once or twice. And then they just sit in my "AlreadyPinged.txt" with all the others... I build backlinks daily, and with the amount I've been building with Scrapebox on AutoApprove blogs I don't even bother with pinging them... I've become a little lazy.

If I stick a PR4-8 backlink... Now those are the ones I will keep my eye on and ping/meta index MULTIPLE times if I think it's taking the SERPs too long b/c that's the juice that I want. Also, I don't care if they are NoFollow/DoFollow because BOTH are good and credited.

I switch back and forth from quanitity to quality to quantity to quality
So most of my sites have a mix of backlinks from all over the place!!

Hope this helps you out a little!

The way you write titles I think you'll do just fine in the marketing world

Stuff like this is all over the forum; read, read and then read some more. Then try stuff you read and read when you come up a bit short.

Social bookmarking is the sh*t. Try an automated tool like Automated Submission to Social Media Sites | OnlyWire
