Hi there, I have just had a site indexed and it is a .co.uk domain, yet in analytics, it says I have had 11 visitors, 10 from the USA and 1 from the Uk, I thought .co.uk meant only people in the UK can see it, Mick.

  • you can see .co.uk sites from everywhere. I run a google analytics on a .co.uk site as well and only a proportion of visitors is from the UK.
  • .co.uk doesnt mean that visiotors from uk can see it .
It can be seen from anywhere .

    Cheers

    • Yah google analytics is another way to submit your site or verify.

So that it would be easier for your website get index.
  • lol....ok was this a joke?
  • .co.uk means that the website will be generally be shown higher in the SERPs when UK users are searching for something. Other people around the world will still be able to see the website but it will be harder to rank abroad.
  • No, your site will appear in Google of different countries.
