1. Create a google docs profile, after that create a note with your main keywords hyper linked.
2. Create a flickr account:
Sign Up -> Personalize Your Profile -> Describe Yourself Box -> Add HTML
Code For Your URL + Anchor Text
3. Create an excite.com account
Create an account → My Bookmarks ->Edit it
4. Create a video on youtube and add in the description a backlink to your site
5. Register at blogs.nasa.gov and start posting relevant comments.

Hope This Helps.

Hes right... just because the domain name of Google is PR10.
Doesn't mean your link is ranked on PR 10. It's just your link
is on a PR10 site, which very rarely will ever effect your PR
even if the dofollow feature is on..

TZ have you been buried under a rock?! Of course NO FOLLOW BACKLINKS COUNT.

So if you rank in the Google SERPs you're getting PR10 juice from the TLD (google.com) right?! B/c all those search results are DOFOLLOW.

Nope. They don't count. Tested them for years.

They will get you indexed in the SERPS, if that is what you mean by "counting".

But as far as giving you PR Juice. No way.

"you're getting PR10 juice from the TLD (google.com) right?!"

Nope again. "Not so sure about your detective work there Lou" - Fargo.

Certainly are NOT getting juice from SERP placement. You are getting spidered more from the SERPS which is great, and that can help you IF your content is up to snuff.......but PR juice? Uh uh.

Now I have to go clean my rock. Getting moldy.

does anyone know the formula google uses to calculate your pr based on the pr's of the sites linking to you?

I just figured that they averaged it out so if i had 10 backlinks with nine of them being pr2 and one being pr10 then the pr10 would pull me up to about pr3 or pr4 there about

            Hi skibbz,

Sites don't have PR. PageRank is assigned to individual pages, not sites. If you had a backlink from a PR10 page then your page would probably be assigned PR7 or PR8 even without any other backlinks. A PR10 backlink is about 4000 times more powerful than a PR7 backlink.

Of course it is very difficult to get a PR10 backlink and cosmokid's method is probably the easiest way to get one, but even then it better be the CEO that you sleep with if you want any chance in hell of getting it.

Anyway, here is the PageRank formula:

Some of the online newspapers and trade magazines have a place for comments about articles published, very often they are high page rank sites. Just mention that you are the owner of www.domain.com and Google will find it.

Sometimes the comments get 'moderated', sometimes not!

Depends if it's on page PR or domain PR.

Domain PR is pretty weak and really only serves to get your link indexed more effectively.

On page PR, however, is super strong, and just handful of links like this can make a huge difference in your rankings. Hence services like this are so popular: Automatic Backlinks

By checking out the stats of PR9 and 10 websites, I do not see such methods used because in order to reach such top level stages, a domain needs to have thousands of links, most of them coming from high PR pages like homepages of other authority sites. Besides, trying to reach the top of the chart may require years of constant link building and the task cannot be done very easily.

Hi I'm new to this forum, great advice and the blogs.nasa.gov has great PR but unless you website is also about stuff that NASA also deals with, a link there does not give much of a link juice.

About the No Follow & Do Follow debate above, a No Follow link from a PR10 site will just be the same from a Do-follow link from an unranked page = no link juice! The No Follow link still gets crawled and will be indexed as a link from site A to site B, but if we are gonna talk about Link juice, there's no link juice from No Follow links. period.

I stick with PR8 links. I just send an email with my URL to my Gmail account open the email and hey presto! my link appears on a PR8 page. Plus I have chosen my own anchor text! How great is that! Also I'm in negotiations to buy a great bridge at a cutdown price.
