Hi,

Basically I've started around 5 new niche adsense websites a few days ago and will start creating backlinks to these websites by doing do follow niche related blog commenting on blog inner pages, so not top level domains.

Now my question is.

Lets say for example the top level domain is a pagerank 4 and the inner pages are all PR 0.

1. Is it still worth getting backlinks from these kind of inner pages with a PR 0?

2. Does it still send some link juice to my websites?

3. has anyone seen a improvement in Google rankings doing blog commenting on PR 0 blog pages?

Looking forward to your reply's?

Thanks,

i suggest that you just keep adding backlinks, dont look on if it is dofollow or nofolow, is it high or low PR... More different sources you have, better it is.

  • Ideally if you are going to put in the time to get backlinks, you want to be going after PR 3 or PR 4 links at least. That said, a PR 0 links is better than nothing. Just keep building them and soon you will start seeing results.

In the words of Matt Cutts "A link is still a link"

and in my opinion it helps keep a natural link profile instead of having all high PR or high authority pages, that just looks unnatural.

I'm still into getting quality backlinks in different methods. More links in related sites will do.

Its not the rank that really... even though rank is one of the factor, its not everything... there are lots of things that would bring your website up.. backlinks, advertising, blogging... these are just some of them..

But algorithmically one click off the homepage would indeed have pagerank, unless there is some penalty. The main problem I have with that is there are lots of 0 pagerank pages that rank well, including internal pages. Right here on this forum there are tons of pages getting decent rankings that are showing a 0 pagerank. In reverse, there are a few directories I know with high pagerank but little traffic from google searches. In my opinion, Google is purposely not showing pagerank on internal pages as often, and certainly not updating what they show as often. But that doesn't mean the pagerank doesn't exist. I can't prove any of this, nor can anyone really, but it is my theory.
