Just via some random searching and some research i found a target keyword thats has thousands of searches per month and virtually no competition!

The keyword is: "malwarebytes"

Note: Google adwords might not work.

Have fun

It is a misspelling of the anti virus program Malware Anti-bytes (or something like that)

No point in ranking for this keyword because:

A: Not too many great affiliate programs for antivirus stuff
    B: HORRIBLE Click Through Rates.

Thats right, but check the keyword. And the domain....

        ... and the monthly searches...

Yes you are right, not much affiliate products. But think about list building, blogging, with adsense etc... HUGE TRAFFIC.

Any searched keyword that you can buy and rank should only be pursued if you can monetize the site.

So how do you monetize a search term where the people looking for it know that your website is not it, and the product they are looking to acquire is free?

Be creative. I could think of a few things just off the bat. put it this way... you have 30,000 people walk through your shop everyday to get somewhere else.... lol.

I never said that... But first second or even third page would be awesome. And its not for me, its for all the noobs saying they dont know what niche to target but thanks for your input anway.

p.s. maybe a lucky clover would work better

NO ANDREI! Your goal should always be page ONE! It doesn't matter if you're targeting highly competitive search terms or not... When you do your competition research know that Google results #1-10 (page ONE) is YOUR competition!

Those are the sites you want to bump. Better on- and off-site SEO than them, reverse engineer their backlinks and build yours better!

It's page ONE or BUST IMO!

But you are right... I was just making a point it's hard to get clicks when the product's main page is ranking in the top spots. But if you get onto page ONE, DO expect traffic!

          CHEERS!

          P.s. Irish Pride Baby!

            Mmmmm.....?

Yeah, of course 1st page is the goal! But 2nd or 3rd for that many searches can be considered silver or gold

Either way, what noobs should get outta this is that keyword research really pays off!
