Need help with Keyword Research

I need help with Keyword research.

1) I have an article that talks about 'web designing in India'.

Can I optimize it for the keyword 'web designing in India' and "web designing India'?
Does it make sense to optimize a single article fro two different keywords or those two keywords above are really not that different?

2) I've a couple of articles written already, with the targeted keyword in the title. Is there any tool that can scan through my article and tell me what other keywords are present in my article?

    1) I would skip the stop word (in), & go with "web designing India" for any internal links + external backlinks.

    Stop word list...

    2) You can use the SeoQuake Firefox plugin to help parse keywords.

I really would not pay attention to stop words. And google does not ignore them, it decides if that word is relevant to the theme, for example "the matrix".

So I would use both variations, which are very similar anyway, within the same text. Variations and related terms build context, they do not detract.

I'm confused by this. If stop words are ignored by Google, then why is it a problem to include "in"?

yes a keyword without In would be better . There are plenty of tools which can give you over all idea about keyword density in content. First upload your article to specific website ad then find keyword density tool to check the density for different keywords...
