Does Google give you better ads over time?

I have an adsense site thats been up for 18 months. In the last six months, my traffic has stayed relatively the same but my earnings have gone up. I was hitting $400 a month in Aug and Sept, moved closer to $500 in Nov and hit $550 in Dec and now I am on target to hit $650 in January.

I have not added anything to the site or done any backlinking or released any articles for this site. Here is an example of what I'm seeing:

Nov - 7424impressions, 836clicks, 11.26%, $481
Dec - 6764impressions, 812clicks, 12.00%, $561

My guess is that after a certain amount of time or revenue earned from adsense that google gives you higher payout ads. Has anyone else seen this or is it just a fluke?

I would think it's the niche that your site is in. Well, that & the traffic.

I have a site that earns very steady $$ & hasn't been updated in over a year, still has Halloween content on the Index page from 2009, lol.

I won't update as long as it's earning on it's own...

I know that some niches are very well paid: like real estate for example. BTW you have a good CTR, i can say that it is perfect.
