  • It happens automatically. Google displays the most relevant ads after analyzing your website content. That's how adsense works!

  • Make sure the targeting code is placed around the title AND content only in your code. Outside of that, don't sweat it, because the ads you see on your browser don't mean that much cause they're different everywhere you go.

    All you should to then is focus on more content. For instance across all of our blogs today we have already posted over 300 articles - all passing copyscape.

    Adsense is a VOLUME game, so don't worry too much about ad targeting. If your blog or site is new it will take their bots some time to target their ads more accurately.

    I do similar to what others have posted already.

    1) Interest-based Ads =

    2) Page-Title includes keyword

    3) A <h1> tag includes keyword & is wrapped with the Adsense targeting code. That's the only place I use the targeting code per page.
  • Are you using AdSense section targeting code before your article and at the end of your article? If not, then try using it.

    <!-- google_ad_section_start -->

    <!-- google_ad_section_end -->

    Either put it in the HTML every time you do a post, or edit the theme so the single.php places it, if your theme uses that structure.

    Follow the path/links that Scott said, then scroll down the page towards the bottom & click the button.

  • I have a few Adsense sites that are making money, ranging between $70 and $250 a month. It's just my personal experience that Google does some kind of adjustment almost daily... as i can see my CPC varies a lot sometimes from $0.12 all the way up to $1.05... Also it usually takes a few days to see some decent clicks with relatively high CPC in my case...
  • I swear, I am blind in one eye, and can't see out of the other one.

    I got it now, thanks. It was already set to that fortunately.
  • Actaully, if your site are new, you will need to take sometimes to get relevants ads and one of my site are the same. But i keep patience then in a few days later everything are correct.
  • Apart from the great answers here you have to take into account one thing.

    When you did your keyword research did you check to see that there are actual adwords ads for the term. If there is only one or two you are going to get irrelevant ads showing.

    When I do my research there has to be a minimum of 6 ads on googles first page. Most times this means the 4 relevant ads will show up in the adsense block on my site. Keep in mind though that not all adwords advertisers make thier ads available to the content network.

    This is where spyfu comes in handy. It gives you this info in a heartbeat.

    Put your keyword into google again and see how many ads there are
