Hi everyone, I am a relatively newbie at affiliate marketing. I am making websites and selling affiliate products. I am sort of basing my strategy around George Browns Google Sniper methods. Anyway one of my site Making Money In Facebook (with the same keyword phrase as the domain name) ie: making money in facebook, has been slowly going up the page rankings and I finally got it on page one of google for that search which is good coz it has over 3000000 competition. Anyway..one day..actually today...it dissappeared...vanished gone. I think I have been sand boxed..Does anyone know what happened or what I can do about this? It took me quite a bit of effort to get it up there and I havn't done anything to it sice so I see no reason why its gone? Does google or facebook have a problem with people trying to make money with facebook or something? Any help on this matter would be appreciated..Thanks

  • The Google Sandbox does not exist. Your either dancing or have been thrown into the supplemental index, the latter of which is highly unlikely unless your site is made of pure spam.

If you have been building links Google is just reacting to your link building progress. Nine times out of ten its good to vanish, because when you reappear you are going to be stronger (higher up) than you were before.

  • Agree with Comment number 7 on the board do not use the word facebook as a domain I found this out when i set up Google Adwords it pisses the Search engine off,I was not allowed to run my campaigns for my sites until i used instead FB for my site.

Just make sure your keywording to the site is intact and look up non competitive keywords instead of broad keywords your competition will be fighting over. That way when you have found the right keyword(for example get more FB likes) you have a excellent keyword google will see in your links,
