My Site was Number One for 1 hr..

Can Anyone Explain this?
Today when i checked just before leaving work my site was number 1 for the keyword i was targeting then 20 mins later when i arrived home i checked again and it was still number 1 several minutes after i checked i had gone wayy back to page 5!
Before my site was number 1 on page 1 for that one hour it was number 1 on page 2
i noticed a larger amount of traffic than usual
im using the same linking strategies that ive used for my other sites to get them ranking high.

Does anyone know what's happening it? Google dance?

    Try Google Chrome Incognito browser when you search for your keyword.

        I think it might be "dancing" When it fell to page five I then Added 10-15 profile backlink's during the day to it and that night it went to number 1 on page two then the bottom of page one, then this morning it was in the middle of the first page and now its on page 7 with the other pages of the website.

        I haven't really experienced this kind of behavior with any other website.

    I think its google dancing. You should allow it for a while then it might come back to page 1.
