I am looking for feedback on other webmasters out there
which backlinks do you think are better and why

from what I notices with my sites Article BAcklinks are index much faster by Search Engines with no work at all profile backlinks take some time and a little work to get them indxed

I also tested on niches just profile links to a site and on another site article backlinks I can tell you I rank faster with articles niches were also low competetion

profile backlinks were done to a dot com domain

while article were done to .info

what are your ideas please share

Profile links sure are easy to do. However, they don't really work *for* you like article links do.

Let's say you publish a great article on Go Articles. Yes, you'll get a backlink from Go Articles. But, as people start to syndicate your article, you'll get even more backlinks - and you didn't have to do anything to get them (aside from publishing the original article, of course). In the long run, you could wind up with dozens of links from just 1 article, while that lone profile link is just sitting there.

Makes sense that article backlinks would be indexed quicker if they're going to article directories or blogs (contextual) whereas profile links are deeper within sites. Also, contextual links are more valuable.

With profile links, it is necessary to let the search engines know of their existence by pinging them. With articles, depending on its quality, it gets syndicated by other site owners and travels around the web a fair bit.

Profile Backlinks - Gives big SERP boost, but comparatively not permanent and you have to keep on doing time to time to maintain the ranking, easy to do

Article Backinks - Solid permanent links and the the strength of links is always increasing. Will result a stable SERP.

Combination of both is always good

I think they are both necessary.

    Profiles = short-term love (2 months tops)

Articles = long-term love (not for 4 months than forever.)

I love article backlinks. My articles get indexed quickly, boost my serp, and the article itself ranks within the first few pages of Google.

All backlinks from profile websites and article sites will be very much useful for your website. Just try to post your good profile in profile submission websites. You can create a separate profile in social networking sites and add friends, which helps in visiting the number of people to your site.

Both are very useful way to promote what you want. If you cannot write any article your profile not been displayed to others, and also possible that your article can be steal by others who can read it.It is acceptable that you don't have good profile but you should have quality Article Writing.

Profile links are not a good technique, Article backlinks are better than profile links.

I always go for the combination of both profile links and article submissions. However, I had noticed that, profile links (from high pr domains) gives me a sudden increase in my SERP rather than article submissions. But, I am not satisfied with the way of getting profile links, because, I am afraid that those may be deleted at any time, but article links are very strong as far as we are giving some info to others - that make others to get use of us, but not profile links

I like both, and at first I tried to link back profile. But that became my personal notes, thatwithout trying we will not know the results. So I tried all kinds of backlinks, but of coursehad to "white hat backlink. "
