How Many Words Are You Writing A Day?

I've been tracking my daily number of words typed to see what the average is now.
Some days it's between 2000-2500 words, and other days it's only 1000-1500 words.
I use autoblogging for domain growth, but we still make the lion's share of our income from pure original content growth across Wordpress blogs.
Anyone who is making any real money is creating their own content is some fashion, so I'm wondering what the full-timers are writing per day by word count.
My typing speed isn't very fast (maybe 65 words a minute).
This thread will be helpful for newcomers because they will learn the reality of what a full timer has to do to keep the cash flow coming, and I'm REALLY curious to what the norm is.
I read somewhere once that Steven King only writes between 500-1000 words a day, and we all know how prolific HE is. Of course his time is taken up creating characters and story line which is much tougher than we have it, writing about widget #3 and widget #4.
