Adwords account suspended

Hey guys,

Hope you can help me out of this one. I logged into my Adwords account today and it said "Your Google AdWords account has been permanently suspended for repeated violation of AdWords or Landing Page and Site policies in this or a related account"

I didn't receive any prior warnings that they were going to do this. As of right now, I can't advertise my sites in Adwords.

The sites I was advertising were:
Product Key - find yours instantly with Keyfinder
One Way Backlinks - Building Link Popularity To Your Site Without Spamming - MassiveBacklink

Does anyone see anything on these pages that would be considered a violation of a Landing Page policy? I'm stumped. I always try to be an ethical business person and have been an Adwords customer for 6 years. The massivebacklink site, however, is a new one that I just bought 6 mos ago from someone else.

  • Yip, that's Googles favourite trick. You're basically stuffed now.
They gave me 3 warnings one day while I was away, and I came back to the same story as you. They won't even tell me why.

Well, it's good to know it happens to others. Did you end up creating a new account?

      • I tried that but I think they must have picked up my IP address because they banned it right away.
If I had been doing something that was black-hat or malicious then I wouldnt mind, but I think the problem was something to do with my site not having enough content.

It's something I would have happily amended if they had just given me the time instead of blasting out 3 warning emails in 6 hours. Idiots!

I can only assume for second site:

          Words and phrases like:

          "massive backlink"

"These backlinks from authority sites are very powerful and will boost your search engine rankings. "

"If You Want a #1 Spot Like This..."

"You will also recieve .EDU links, which carries a lot of power in Google's ranking system "

"Each link will be from FREE authority sites, saving you thousands of dollars "

"You will get all one way link, giving you the most power in Google "

"Auto Approved - Instant backlinks, no moderation/waiting! "

"Skyrocket Your Page Rank with Powerful One Way Backlinks. Act Now!"

A lot of those assumptions are just BS.

In fact, the whole sales page is totally against adwords TOS.

Don't get me wrong, the sales page is normal hyperbole, but that
does not fly with adwords. The page might convert quite well. But
it's a site that fits better in a forum sig.

    1) The backlink Ad was the most obvious, If you do a keyword search for backlink, zero Adwords Ads on the first page.

    http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=backlink

    2) Product Key - find yours instantly with Keyfinder

The solution is right here, right now: Download our award-winning software program, Keyfinder 2011. Using a secret formula, it decrypts product keys that are stored on your computer. Best of all, it's quick and easy to use
I bet Google looks at this as a hacking tool?

I was thinking about that too. But reading your post these words
stuck out: secret formula with "it decrypts product keys."

Seems it could be abused on computers not your own. Not sure
if google thinks that deep, but that backlink site....

The backlink site is just all over a bad adwords site. The site is
claiming to schmooze a google product. Not gonna fly with adwords.

But like I said, I'm not making judgment on whether the page is a
      good one to convert sales.

My thoughts Mari Anne are similar to those Warriors who have posted above. When I looked at your two sites my first thoughts were that Google would frown upon the selling of backlinks for the purpose of "manipulating" rankings.

On scanning the second site, I thought that you were selling license codes as opposed to decrypting them. I haven't read through the Adwords t&c's to see if or how these sites specifically represent breaches but, as we all know, Google are a law unto themselves...just ask anyone who has also had their Adsense account banned without any justifiable explanation!!
