Can someone please explain to me what is good about the W3 Total Cache plugin, and also what's a Content Delivery Network?

    • CDN is where static parts of your site are served from servers closest to the request. If my site is UK hosted and someone accesses a page from New York that info has to to travel from UK to New York. With CDN your static data i.e. images etc are served through many servers and the one closest to the request is used.

      I use maxCDN on my sites and i highly recommend them. Cloudflare also offer a similar service but I found them to be quite unreliable which put me off but they may have improved things since I last tried them.
