Does anyone have any evidence through testing whether, for on-site optimisation, using a wordpress blog, linking from within the text of a blog works any better than using a Related Posts plugin?

I'm looking for evidence rather than supposition

  • I wouldn't even know of a way to test that across sites, though I would imagine since contextual links are worth more, that contextual links would be better...
