How long did it take you to reach $10/day using adsense?

Also which do you prefer, micro niche websites, authority websites or a little of both?

For me it took a little over 2 months of hard work and dedication to achieve $10/day on a micro niche site with 4 articles. Now it takes around 4-6 weeks without article marketing.

  • What is the site type? Wordpress by chance? Filling up the front end as in pages with hand written content will go a long way. Then you may syndicate some of the posts on the back end. I get a lot of traffic from a huge blog, and do well with it. But, I do my own writing in all the pages and promote weekly.
  • Yep, the first site I was able to reach $10/day with adsense was a WordPress site using xfactor.

    I promoted it 2 ways...
    1. Blog Commenting - Every 2-3 days I did a niche related blog search (using google's blog filter search) and posted 1 comment for each targeted article keyword.
    2. Forum Posts - Once a week I went out and searched for niche related forum posts and commented on them (5-10 of them) linking my keyword(s) back to the articles.

    • I think this is the most valuable part of this post. If you picked your keywords properly and follow these steps you will get similiar results with a little trial and error.

  • 10$ per day is very difficult target I must look for.I am targeting for 6 per day and it took three months of SEO work to reach that traffic.

  • It took 2-3 months to achieve a stable $30/day with adsense from 6 websites. Medium and Less competitive niches.

    • I have been doing Im for 18 months and I have yet to cosistently reach $10 a day consistently on Adsense, been conentrating on other moneitazation methods. I have have many $10 days with my 1 adsense site. (Its kind of embrassing talking of $10 days when most people prefer to talk about $100 days).

      $10 a day is not really a big ask and should be within reach of most people within a couple of starting out.

  • I am making my blog and its age is around 1 month.

    I am earning less than $5/ day.

    I think some hard work is required for making $10/day.
