Hi all,

I know they are some members on this forum who use Adsense on their websites as part of their site's monetization; however, I would like to know how do you prevent your Google Adsense account from click fraud (i.e., people unscrupulously clicking away on your Adsense ads). Please share your thoughs on how you handle this problem.

I'm in the process of creating my new website, and I am considering using adsense to monitize my site, but I am very concerned with Adsense click fraud. Please say exactly how I could prevent my account from being shut down (god forbid) due to click fraud by unsrupulous net users.

haters are everywhere. don't worry about it.
I'm sure you could prove that the clicks were coming from a different IP and not related to you

How, that's my question? I need a way to prove to Google in the event that this occurs (god forbid) that I was not responsible in any way. I know there should be things out there that many publishers use to prove that they weren't responsible, for the clicks. Please share your knowledge.

        Terence,
If you are getting legit clicks and legit traffic, there is no problem.

Click fraud is a by product of idiotic traffic and stupid people who
        makeup this traffic.

You don't really have to worry about click fraud unless you are
telling people (your friends, family) what your sites are and that
you make money for clicks. And you clicking. Google has ways
that we don't even know about that keeps track.

That's different than click bombing. Google has built in
click bombing procedures as well. They must, since every site,
        especially large sites, are prone.

Invalid clicks happen to everyone. Just keep them a low percentage.

In the end, not much to worry about for someone who plays by the rules
100% of the time. Stay away from Mr. Gray and Mr. Inbetween.

Google tells you this as well. It happens. Don't worry. If your nose is
clean, there's not much of a problem.

I have had someone try to sabotage a site by clicking consistently. Google detects this and simply doesn't credit you for the clicks. Nothing to worry about.

If Google detected the clicks, and they were invalid clicks wouldn't Google shut down your account, even if you didn't click your own ads? Please explain...

Also, how can I ask someone directly from Google about that, I tried to email them at adsense-support@google.com, but I received an auto generated email telling me that Google does not receive incoming mail at that address. Please say how I could get in contact with someone directly from the Adsense team.

You are worrying way more then neccessary. If you are so worried about it maybe you should look at an alternative make money online scheme.

Keep your websites secret, you are safe from everything. That's what most internet marketeers do.
