(Ask) How often google update their PR ??

I have one blog, blogspot.com ....(friends-foreveryoung.blogspot.com) before last update MY PR 0 but Now PR 5. is it Normall?? all my friend want put a link on my blog link to their site..even they agree to pay , is it to risk??

last question , How often google update their PR?? pls help me.......i need your answer..

Google constantly assesses pagerank, however they only occassionally update the PageRank toolbar. In fact it was almost 9 months between the last toolbar update.
