How do I use google analytics?

signed up for an account & was instructed to place the java code in my pages....how do I go about doing this?

I downloaded the google analytics plugin & was under the impression that all i needed to do was place the web property ID the GA plugin?

  • I would suggest you do a Google Search for Videos on Setting Up Google Analytics. You should find several that will help you. Once you install the PlugIn you have to put the code in your webpages. I think you will find an instructional video that will show you this. Hope this helps....

    • There are several really good plugins for worpress that integrate GA. have a look for the one by Yoast

    Just head over to youtube.com and type in How to install Google Analytics.

    It will also tell you on the actual site:
