Article Alley - Good Source for Free Content?

hey warriors,

good saturday to everyone

I understand article alley is a source for free content. However I notice I rarely see it mentioned for that purpose.

(maybe that's true of any article directory?)

If it's not unique content because it has been published on article alley or elsewhere 1st,
then what value is it to your site?(probably the biggest question)

Maybe you could enlighten me just a bit?
I must be missing something


Any info appreciated!

    All the article directories have free content, you can copy and paste any of it and put it on your blog for content. Saves you doing any writing at all. Some people even have a rss scraper that puts fresh articles in a blog while you sleep.

      I can't answer your question but Ezine Articles is the most popular site when it comes to providing content for websites. Because webmasters use it so frequently, people put up their articles at Ezine because there is a greater chance of getting backlinks.

    Have you heard of Ezine Articles? That is probably the best site for reused content though others like Article Alley can be used for the purpose too. Important to keep in mind is that the search engines favor original content over recycled content.

      yes I know about ezine, I just had an article published there a week ago....

      The reason for my question is because I hate writing articles, and felt maybe I could use the work of others. So then it's not so much "article alley", as it is any article directory, that can be used for this purpose, OK I get that....

      OK, so then again, what benefit is it to my site? by taking the article of another and place it on my site? since it's already published by someone else, it's not unique content?

      (I'm not referring to spinning the content, I'm talking about the content as it is published in the directory itself)

      any value to my blog? if I post someone elses published article to my blog?

    Most people in Internet Marketing won't admit that they are using other people's content to build their websites.

    Your more likely to get a bunch of people who will profess that writing your own unique and special content that will grab your reader and keep them coming back for more is the best.....and they are right.

    But some just don't have the time for that, and those people I would say YES, by all means use Ezinearticles.com and Article Alley to get the content for your site.
