So I watch matt cutts videos on advice for seo and rankings and saw the video about how social networks and links influence rankings. He simply said that the more links that are retweeted by people with a lot of followers or credibility (i.e. page rank idea) and people with a lot of friends on facebook(i.e. page rank equivalent) will influence the amount of link juice and credibility that goes to that link.

So heres the idea if somebody can help me get this done to test it out.
You would have to make both a viral netowrk of tiwtterers and a viral network of facebook pages/profiles. Than you have a digg like story and you blast it out via one of your top twitter profiles and have all 1,000+ followers retweet the link. Than you like the page and have your network of facebook profiles like and re post to their public wall.

It would be interesting to see how this affects rankings Here is the article explaining this: What Social Signals Do Google & Bing Really Count?

let me know if anybody has the capabilities to test this out.

IMHO this is asking to much from a tester. Don't get me wrong, the tester may be willing to ignite their part of the equation but if their audience responds or not is not up to them and thus much of the control in the experiment is uncontrolled unless I am missing something in the idea.

However, as it relates to building massive exposure through Twitter I do recommend checking out the link in my post below. It leads to a free Twitter tool that is absolutely amazing in ability with some features that I have never seen elsewhere.
