Hi, Guys!

I need your help, please, share your experience. The question is important and I suspect that you could have the answers. What are those moments, after which you guided to properly identify your website locations on the Google site. I ask this question because until now I have not realized in what way Google shows results in different parts of the world. What I mean, one moment my site is located on the first page for a particular keyword and another time in another page on the same key word and it happens quite quickly and these results do not coincide with Google.com, Google.uk, or Google.au. In other words, the results are different to the results that I see when I use Google.com from my own country with the results being displayed when opening Google.com Australia, England or elsewhere. How to explain this Googles ''phenomenon'' and follow what to determine the exact website location?

Thanks.

  • Google displays different results for different countries. In fact, each country extension has it's own pinging url as well.

If you are checking your page ranking manually, make sure to always clear your cache before looking up your site. Otherwise, your "personalized results" will be different than the results that someone gets who is searching with that keyword for the first time.
  • I always prefer to check manually instead of using any software as manual check is 100% accurate.

    • Hi Andra,
You can also login to your Google Webmasters account and under Your site on the web, click on Search Queries. You can see the positions of your keywords and whether they are moving up or down on the SERPs.
