How Can You Check Your Sites Backlinks?

is there a tool or site you use to see how many backlinks you have currently and where they are coming from? thanks in advance

    There are many such sites. None is completely reliable (and that's putting it mildly).

  • yes there is so many tools to check your backlinks but none of them are not accurate. I consider these tools as guidelines to improve our seo skills.

  • Yahoo site explorer is the most used tool to use and it's totally free. I use it daily to check if new backlinks appear.

  • You can use Yahoo search. Type linkdomain:yourdomain.com and you will see all the pages linking to your website.
  • I have found yahoo site explorer to be accurate. Open Yahoo.com and then type linkdomain:yoursiteurl.com

    • I certainly wouldn't call Yahoo "accurate". Definitely incomplete.

      Yahoo shows you a lot more links than Google does, but it's still only a subset.

      There's no truly accurate way to find all the backlinks to your site and more importantly find out all backlinks to your site that the search engines know about.
  • You can check in google by typing link: your site address.
  • You can use Market Samurai to check your own backlinks and also your compititors backlinks.

    There are many tools available online free as well as paid. you can't rely on any one. Mostly i use backlinkwatch, yahoo site explorer, google randomly.
  • There are many backlinks checker tools that you can find in the net, but don't depend on this tools because none of them is accurate.
