Google Stole My Site, But then Gave it Back!

I have had an adsense site up for about a year now, and it has been doing fairly well for most of that time. I have been above the fold for my main keywords for quite some time now.

But all of the sudden about 2 weeks ago my site completely disappeared from google. All of my site's pages that had been indexed on different sets of keywords had completely vanished. This wasn't the normal google dance. They just weren't there any more.

I know that google had been cracking down on BS content sites, so I thought that I had been flagged by them for that, but then all of the sudden yesterday my site was right back where it had been before. Not sure what that was all about.

I have been doing NO blue fart IM'n. All of my marketing was article/content marketing backed up with social bookmarking. And my actual site has quality content that is relevant to its marketing. So I am just a little confused. Any ideas?

It's possible that Google was having trouble spidering your site for some reason so it dropped it. Something fixed itself and now it is back. I wouldn't worry about it too much, I don't know.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of phenomena before?

      Hi,

What do you mean by "site vanished"?

Did it return 0 results for site:yoursite.com, or it was buried in some 500th page for keywords it used to rank on #1 page?
