Commenting in blogs with our site link is good or bad method?

I heard that doing commenting in blogs with our link is not good and there is a chance to become spam, is it true? especially in google search engines.

      Hi
Make sure the blog you comment on is in the same niche as your site.

Look at the posts and judge the quality. If the content is of good quality, then pick out a post that interests you and make a comment that enhances the post. In other words, add something of value to the discussion.

At the end of the day it is not the number of blogs you comment on. It is the quality of the links you acquire by commenting on thematically related good quality blogs. Do not worry about the link being nofollow or dofollow or whatever. Make sure the blog sits on a good strong domain in a good neighborhood.

The blog owners of such blogs will be careful in approving comments as they are passionate about their blogs. Quality matters and not just quantity.

If you want to drive traffic to the website without considering the PR then It is good practice to do blog commenting. You will get direct traffic from these links if your content is related to your service or an offer.

It is good if you make the comment worthwhile. Much better to get approved for a site that doesn't have a thousand comments. So take a bit of time and works out well.

Yes blog commenting helps to increase inbound links as well as it also help to increase the website traffic.
But you should check weather the blog allows do follow attribute or not. If you comment on no follow attribute blogs , You are not going to get any thing of it. So make a list of do follow blogs, try to write relevant comment on the topic or relate to the post. Otherwise blog admin won't approve your post.

Blog commenting is definitely good if you do it properly, i.e. post really helpful comments, not just anything for the sake of getting links. Think GIVE, not only RECEIVE.

In terms of getting link juice to boot you rankings, you need to post on DOFOLLOW blogs, as most blogs by defualt are Nofollow.

Another smart considerations to bear in mind when commenting are:
    1. Comment on blogs related to you niche and try to bring in value in your comments.
    2. Try to comment on pages with little comments (I'd say under 5), or the link has little value.
    3. Comment on Blogs with Good Alexa rank (indirect indication of traffic). Even if you don't get link juice because of two many outbound links on the page, you may get some traffic from the blog.

    Hi,

It is not always the case. You can feel free to comment in blogs but at the same time ensure that you have answered their question or commented to the blog with relevance. I am an SEO expert myself, and have commented hundreds of blogs with my links but hardly very few have been deleted.

Of course Blog Commenting is good. Its a good way to get backlinks to your site. The only thing you should consider before doing it is if the blog you're posting at is a do follow one and your comment. Make a good and informative content which can be approve by the blog moderators.

Blog commenting works and is powerful. The thing is that most people
do it the wrong way. The check out some blog which actually are not
related to their website. Besides they leave a random comment, post
something that is not congruent with the post etc.

The sense of blog commenting is to provide value to the website
    owners blog.
It´s not about posting 48 comments per day with stuff like:
Great post, will do something about it!

Rather thinking about how you can relate to what the publisher
    stated in his post.

For instance: You contemplate leaving a blog comment on a
blog that is about Michael Jackson.

You might want to post something like:
"In my opinion Michael Jackson has been one of the greatest
in the music industry. He inspired countless people with his
uniqueness. It´s a pity that he passed, and left his fans sad. "

You can go deeper here, but this is just how it works.

Build fewer backlinks but high quality, because if you don´t
add value, the blog owner won´t even publish your comment.
This means = your work is for ****ing nothing.

That´s were most people go wrong.

    Hope this helps!

    Gerald

blog commenting is good, but only if it is substantial. show that you have actually read the blog post and say more than 'great post, thanks!' that just shouts spam.

commenting on blogs also helps you engage with other people in your field and potentially help you make solid connections.

I welcome comments on my blog. I mean, how else are we going to interact?

I'm good at ignoring negative comments, and I learn a lot from the good ones.

When I leave a comment, I usually include a link because I feel I have something valuable to offer the community. If a comment is negative, it's pointless to leave a link. But you can learn a lot from others' links!

Blog commenting is a great way to get both links and traffic. But you have to think of this like any other transaction. The blog owner is giving you a valuable link. In return you need to add something of value to his site.

Ask a question, tell him why you agree (or disagree respectfully), expand on what he is talking about. Don't just write nice post, or I like your theme. That's spam, and no blog owner wants a page full of those comments.

As long as you are offering something of value, it is a great way to get links.

The best comments must be relevant to the post. For you the best sites to comment are those that have a high PR.
If you disagree with the post let the writer know - why but do not do it in an arrogant manner. If you have a good point of view, the owner of the blog may appreciate reading what you have to say.

It actually depends on the way you do your comments. It won't be measured as spam if you comment properly on the post. As much as doable don't endorse. Acquire the initiative of the content and give your thoughts.

There is nothing wrong at all with posting relevant comments that add value to the user experience on blogs!

I don't care if they're "do follow," in my own niche, or what, adding to a conversation that you are truly interested in has 3 distinct benefits:

    1. You make a contribution. People actually respect you for that, which *may* lead them to
    2. Trust you or be curious enough to check you out (you'll get direct traffic) and
    3. You will get a backlink.

If you're goal is to get a backlink, please follow #1. Getting a variety of links back to your site is a sound SEO strategy--just make sure you actually give something in the conversation.

I do blog commenting. Before commenting on a blog I will check whether the blog is in my niche. Second thing is whether they give dofollow links or not. If you are looking for link juice don't waste your time with commenting on noofllow blogs. If you prefer popularity of your blog, then feel free to comment others blogs without checking whether they offer dofollow links or not. Always add value in your comments.

blog commenting is a no-brainer from a back-linking point of view - and all references to getting links in your niche are spot on...

however no one on this thread has outlined the real reason for commenting, and that is to get to know the blogger!

real bloggers love great comments and notice people who are adding value to the conversation...

leave 8-10 great comments, then approach the blogger about doing a guest post....

this is the real power of commenting on blogs because then you start to not only get backlinks but you borrow traffic as well, and possibly find regular readers and visitors to your site...
