Buying Facebook status?

Hi,

Is buying facebook status legal? Buying facebook status means if I pay a facebook user who has a lot of friends to promote my website into his/her facebook wall/status.

What if I pay to promote my facebook business page, will that be legal?

  • I know a friend who did it. It's kind of like the equivalent of having a number of likes that don't mean anything as the people probably aren't going to be interested in your product or service anyways and won't buy anything. Try Fiverr.

    • Actually I have nothing to sell. I need people to know about my site. My site is a local quiz contest site. Where people participate in quiz and win cash prizes. So nothing to sell, but I need them to know about my site. I already have 5000+ members, But I have a target of 100,000 . Facebook is the prime place where I can find my local people (local means the whole country). I have run ads on face book which gave good sign-ups but I'm looking for cheaper and more affective way if possible.
