How many outbound links should be on a page?

I have a Blogger blog that has around 250 posts or so and a PR of 4. I am putting links in the footer to my money sites and it is really helping.

However, I am throwing together a bunch of money sites, testing a lot of different things. Do I diminish the value of each link by adding a new site/link? I thought I read somewhere that the value of each link on a page diminishes as the number of links on that page grows. Has that been your experience?

  • Each link divides PR, but for internal linking, not an issue in the long run.

Google recommends no more than 100 for a good user experience.

Many people have misunderstood the reason and think there is some
penalty for more than 100. There isn't.

"Reasonable number" is the bottom line. If 150 is reasonable, so be it.
