Buying targeted Twitter accounts?

Hi there,

I am wondering if any of you have ever considered buying Twitter accounts with a couple of thousand followers in your niche?

Is this profitable and to which extent do you believe?

Speaking hypotheticaly would anyone pay 100$ for 5000 followers in their niche ...lets say... poker niche or...gardening niche... (I made these 2 up)...

I ve seen some people selling these online, but never researched it cause I dont use twitter all that much myself, eventhough I do have some followers.

What are your thoughts? How much would you be willing to pay followers/$ ratio.

It wouldn't be worth it.

Any account you buy with that many followers was built and not earned. Meaning the followers were spammed to follow. When that happens no one listens to what you say. You can have an account with 50,000 followers and send out 1 tweet with a link and get 0 clicks.

Bottom line is Twitter traffic off of spam generated accounts sucks.
