How To Check Your Outsourcer's SEO Work? (backlinks)

I would like to know if there is a program that checks for backlinks my outsourcer has built. Doing it manually will be another work for me, so if my outsourcer provides me with a list of places he placed backlinks on it would be great if there was a program that would check for URLs and anchor text backlinks.

im also interested in this service. i looked into linksnitch dot com and backlinksreporter dot com - both look a bit outdated.

anyone have experience with these? im thinking about building a competitor to these services - what other features would you like to see in a web application like this?

with scrapebox, does it just check if the link is still there? also i have to manually run it on a windows box each time right?

once i filter links that are still up, i still have to manually log all this info, and sort it based on whatever service (xrumer, outsourcer, etc).

right now im using a crap load of spreadsheets for my full-time outsourced employee and we're using dropbox to go back and forth on excel. he'll mark which ones are 'bad' when the link goes down..then he has to tally up what kind of links they are, etc.

if you take a look at backlinksreporter it looks like something more hands off with automated link checking, but i figured there might be something better out there.

my question is for ppl outsourcing alot of their backlinking and have alot of automated services going on, would you prefer some kind of backlink tracking service software, or is your current method of tracking (if you can suggest it) more or less painless and a non issue?

If they build 100 links, just check 10 random links to verify.

Scrapebox does it automatically, but you would have to buy the software. Also, I think there is a free link checker software for download somewhere.

Why would you want to hire a SEO guy who does not provide you the reports of the work he claims he did?

Automatic checking is the best for anythings. Scrapebox is that type of product. You should use it.

All you need to do is load the list your outsourcee sent you where he/she claims your links are, and run it through ScrapeBox for the URL's they were supposed to be building links to.

You will find out if your link is live on those pages, as well as the anchor text used.

If you're saying that you're going to keep checking your links over and over to see which ones are dropping, I'm not sure if that's something I would personally recommend. When it comes to SEO and linkbuilding, I prefer to just keep building them rather than worrying about if they're still there or not (unless they're high-quality, high-PR links of course, those I do want to check here and there).

Yes it is very convenient, and can run through thousands of links pretty quickly. I think there is a free version of just the link checker out for download somewhere. I am going to find it, I want to post it on my site.

Specially I recommend you to choose the software "scrapebox".
It need not enough time to check a bundle of links.

Try using the website called Backlinks Watch. I am using it and I can see all my links and where it was put.
