Great Stats Rotten Sales page

I have found a potentially good PPC niche product. The click costs are nearly all in the .04 - .10 range

Thr problem is that the only product I have found has a very poor sales page. It really is bad. The vendor boasts 1.25 - 1.5 conversions which I find hard to believe. (Clickbank product)

So What would you do? Run a test for 1000 clicks or walk away?

    I'd run the test Ken, just to be sure whats inside. You can always find a gold pot hidden in there...

    Hm, with such low click prices it's actually not very surprising that there is only one product (and it was probably abandoned by the vendor). Doesn't look like a hungry crowd niche to me or there would be a lot more competitors, unless you got really, really lucky. I'd drop it if there was no conversions after 300 clicks, shouldn't cost you more than 30 bucks.

    Some sales pages that look horrible actually end up converting ok. Run the test, see what things are like. If it really converts badly maybe its time to move on to another merchant...

    Run a test so you have hard facts to work with. If you're convinced a better page would improve conversions, make your own and the there are great link cloaking products around (I use and promote one myself) that allow you do bypass a bad vendor page completely and go from your page to the payment page directly.

      Thanks for the input

      I'll run a test and see if the page converts. I like the idea of doing my own page and bypassing the vendors nut that will be step 2.
