On about my 4th major revision to my pages for SEO, my new visits from yesterday to today went from 16% to 23%. Although my bounce rate went from 10% to 13%, it is still a net positive.
What I ended up doing was using google's web master tools to analyze the different keywords again and what I thought was getting the most searches per month, weren't. So I changed things up and viola, I am getting more traffic. Hopefully this will speed up the process of getting to #1 for all my pages/search terms.
