do they work? if yes which ones?

  • Traffic exchanges still work, but you have to be careful.

    • Only trade links with related sites. Even if a site has a much higher PageRank if it's not relevant it doesn't help SEO much.
    • Don't expect a lot of traffic. Most link exchanges don't bring tons of traffic, its "featured links" from large sites that bring the most hits.
    • Honor your exchanges. I used to run a link trade network years ago and 90% of the people removed their links within a month ("site redesign, etc."). If you do an exchange with someone keep their link up, and check for your link frequently.

    • no, i wasnt talking about link exchange but traffic exchanges. You know like traffic surfs or easyhits4u, stuff like that where you get credits for traffic.

  • If you want to build à list then it is perfect.
    But for selling you are at the wrong place
  • Most of them are pretty useless.. one that I've found to actually work is LinkReferral (yes, it's traffic exchange, not link exchange).. but you have to look at and review other peoples' sites daily to get yours seen. But if you put in the effort daily, it can bring some decent targeted traffic.
