Hello, i was wondering, how much does the domain age affect SE rankings? Can i rank a site that is 2 weeks old?
Its confusing because, 1 site i made was ranked #1 in google the very next day. very low comp, but still....

domain age does influence the position of SERP, for 2 weeks I think is still fairly new
you can check the age of each every website using SEO Quake

The age matters but you will only really be able to see a difference in the way it ranks if the domain in question is more than 2 years old. Anything less than that doesn't really count as old enough to have gained extra trust.

Actually any domain older than a few months can have an increasingly positive effect on rank. However it only extends as far as how long the domain is associated with keywords. So if you buy an old domain, and switch it to a new website, it doesn't work. You may get "some" links in from the old website, but Google ignores this after a while.
