Backlinks and SEO
- SEO |
When using a program for page analysis (I use Traffic Travis) to determine how easily it would be for me to rank among the top 10 websites, which backlink number is more important, 'Number of backlinks for this page' or 'number of backlinks for whole site'?
At first glance, I would think the number of backlinks for that specific page are the most important since that's the specific page you are trying to rank higher than, and not against the whole site. Or maybe I'm wrong, I'm looking for some advice from someone experienced here.
I have a keyword and all the pages in the top 10 have less than 500 backlinks for that page. So if I can get 1000 backlinks for my specific page, I should be doing good right?
Any insight is welcome. Thanks in advance.
