Indexed in 24 hours

Hi Guys,

I recently setup a new site and i got it indexed about a day later with google.

What i did was this..

submit url to google,bing,yahoo
Uploaded a sitemap to google,
Bookmark it with Digg
Bookmark it with Stumbleupon
Tweeted the url
posted a link on a facebook page

To be honest I did not expect it to get indexed so quick but it did.

It took me about 3 weeks to get indexed before, this was trial and error but it seemed to work. I can't pinpoint what part of that exactly lead it to get indexed but it did.

perhaps you guys do it another way?

  • Great job! Otherwise it takes little more time to be index. I think Digg, StumbleUpon & facebook leads it to be indexed in short time. Tweeting url is also effective.

    • Compare what you did this time with what you did last time and the thing you did differently (since last time it took 3 weeks for your site to get indexed) is probably the thing that got you indexed so fast, hint... Digg and Stumbleupon.
  • I've had sites index within 24 hours just setting up the site by including the first two you list and making sure I use SEO. Also, I noticed a couple of domain names I purchased and added to Hostgator, but haven't done anything else with as yet, have already ranked. Probably the keyword in the domain name (?).

    I just submit my URL to Digg.com and it get indexed under 4 hours.

  • Its a great list,the quickest way i have found has been with Digg as well infact the quickest time was 2 hours but that is always the 1st port of call to get a site indexed quickly.Good luck with your new site
  • all of my sites get indexed with 24 hours

    but what i have noticed is that google will promptly drop it again for a day or two

    and then re-index.
  • All of my websites get indexed in the first few days too.

    I add the site to google.com/addurl
    set up robots.txt and sitemap.xml
    and bookmark

  • well done! it's true you can get indexed quite quickly especially if your keyword isn't overly competitive and you submit it to the right SB sites with huigh PR rankings.
    I also use free press release sits, video sites and doc sharing sites with high PR's for backlinking and seem to get ranked uite quickly

    I do exactly the same for my site. I think it is the most fastest way of indexing.
  • The part of bookmarking is proven to get my sites indexed fast. But it wont hurt if I try to use the steps you mentioned here. Thanks.

  • You can do one more thing for fast indexed with in 12 hour. You have to follow to steps first one is launch your site on the web and immediately sign up for Google AdSense. Submit your site for AdSense eligibility at once and a Googlebot will be sent to determine that. If you passed, you will get an email by the AdSense stating that your site is eligible. The meaning is that the Googlebot has also indexed some of your site. Just write some things about the topic of your web site and you're done.
