I've found that a sudden volume increase in a particular type of link will trigger the algorithm to drop those types of links. How much is too much? Of course it's all over the map. I've seen all article links dropped when 70% of the new links within a month are article links.

So if you do procure in volume, one tactic is to have your suppliers meter them out and mix up the link types.

I advice you don't do that. It is better if you will hire a link builder to build backlinks manually. You can contact me if you need help.

Any one time link burst will be very short lived. If you asked about 1000 links Monthly, then that would be a different answer but we'd need more information about your website first.
