Hey, lets say the blog main page has a PR 1 or higher and i comment on one of his posts but that page does not have a PR, is that still a quality link? and the page is about my niche too.
And how i can post comments on pages what actually has PR? how i find those kind of pages?
I mean i have google alerts set up and it delievers me lot of sites every day, most of them are PR 3 and higher.

  • When we go for blog commenting then the most important thing is doing blog comment in same niche blogs. If inner pages where you put blog comment not have PR despite it it is worthy for your websites. As Google prefer to linking with same niche blogs.
  • PR does matter, but it is not worth focusing on as long as the Website itself has PR value. If you find a Website that has no PR value then be cautious. Even PR0 is better than no PR value.

Check out Comment Kahuna which delivers great PR options including those from the area of .GOV & .EDU.

Also, don't forget your internal link strategies while building external links.
  • Backlink quality matters a lot because when a site gets quality backlinks then at the end when Google calculate the numbers of quality backlinks can give that website credit.
  • Of course quality of links matters, despite of many other aspects quality is in my top3 priority.

    • I sometimes use scrapebox to find high PR blogs.

And of course links matters, as long as they are dofollow they will help you in the SERPs, and if they are nofollow they can still bring some traffic depending on where those links are.
    • I agree. You have to be careful with the quality of links you are driving. Not with the quantity. It's useless to drive so much traffic with no quality at all.
  • That page will gain PR in the long run as so giving your site more benefit in the future. So dont hesitate to leave your comment.
  • Yeah ofcourse backlink quality matters a lot because when a site gets quality backlinks then at the end when Google calculate the numbers of quality backlinks can give that website credit
