Google Analytics Script Won't Install...

I copied the Google Analytic script directly where they told me to do so... just before the </body> tags.

and when I check within the Google Analytic tab... it says "Tracking Not Installed." It has been several hours now...

And when I check the source page on my browser for my home page... the script is exactly where it is supposed to be! Present and just before the </body> tag.

Anyone have any suggestions? I am not sure if Google Help staff will help me much...

    Never mind... after 6 hours... Google finally tells me that the tracking is installed...

    How come they can't do a FYI and say wait a few hours before you go nutso? They do say it takes 24 hours AFTER your site is being tracked properly...

    This is the reason why folks hold their breath until they pass out!

    Thanks anyway... I wanted to delete this thread but couldn't find a button for it...

    To delete it, you need to log in first , then click on edit where you will see the delete option.
