Seeing the Effects of Recent Google Algorithim Changes

I'm seeing an effect of reported recent changes at Google. Original content Adsense sites that have ranked consistently in the page 1 #10 or page 2 #11 slots have dropped to the 40's o4 50's or worse.

Seems to be consistent across my various sites and took place yesterday. Too consistent to be something other than an across the board change at Google.

Not pleased this morning.

I haven't noticed any changes at all.

Can you share more info: how big your websites are, what backlinks you got pointing to them, etc?

It's happened to many people. It looks like we're in the midst of a larger sweep aimed to penalize search results that include sites like these. In the end, I think high quality, detailed results (without misleading titles) may still stand a shot at prevailing, but Google's really looking to display results that sell that actual product (or provide some otherwise extremely valuable and original form of content that they can't find elsewhere) when all is said and done. This has been going on for a few months now, with different phases effecting different people/sites.

I haven't sold any links, only have original content (with the exception of a few Amazon reviews), have all the required pages, etc.

It's an across the board drop for virtually all of my sites. There's too many to be a coincidence - or the normal dance - and it's not good.

The weird thing is this drop in SERP *only* seems to be related to the main keyword that is part of the EMD name.

Secondary keywords - and those on inner pages - don't seem to be effected. Not yet, anyway.
