Backlinking through Articles for a site in another language

I want to do some SEO work on a friend's company website. On-page stuff is all done but I need some backlinks (who doesn't). I figured that the safest way is to get some backlinks through articles, so nothing can go wrong and the site gets sandboxed + the website's link doesn't appear in a bunch of random blogs or forum profiles.

Can I use services like UAW and submit articles all in english except the anchor text ? Maybe in the resource box or something ?

Furthermore, what else I can do and get backlinks without hurting the company and the brand ?

  • yes, you can use different languages as your anchor, just put the foreign word in brackets and its ok.

    what else can you do? social bookmarking and some articles on web 2.0 sites.
  • You can do social bookmarking for backlinks. Totally safe. Also look for edu blogs and comment on them using your anchor text.
  • 2 things to remember:

    a) keep good ratio: country / overseas links

    b) set up country for site in Google WebMasters Tools
  • Think social bookmarks.

    Thnik press releases.

    Think video.

    Think article directories.

    Think RSS feeds.

    And yes, why not UAW etc? They are okay too!!

    Quick question: By social bookmarking, you mean bookmarking articles or the site?
  • you can do both. and btw, the link in my sig is a great tool which is even free (no, its not mine, but its an affiliate link where I earn only if you buy credits. but this system works very nicely without credits too!)
