Ok excuse me warriors im really about Google

My niche i have been working on seens to be overtaken by webpages with guess how manybacklinks....1 yes just one yet in a months time i will have over 5000 links from our private network and article submissions/Press releases which my team are working on as we speak. But have been noticing this more and more sites that have 1,2,3 backlinks only not 10,000 20,000 50,000 100,000(Like most marketer's) have been pushed back to pages 10,20,30,100 and these sites with just one backlink sit on top of page one. I do the following for all my sites.
  1. press releases and Rss feeds
  2. create content and update religiously
  3. make linkwheels from time to time or find revelant pages which my sites are equal too or same subjects and leave good comments.
  4. Backlink slow. use a mixture of backlinks (EDU,co.uk..com,pr 1-9 sites and profile comments like warrior or dp)
  5. Have plenty of referring traffic yet no search engine love!
  6. connect with social media also
  7. link to many directorys and pagreank do follow sites...
and i get this

and what pisses me off is the face this site sits at page one only registered last week yet with one backlink and boom on top spot of google? i ask you have Google gone nuts. Or does it just wants everyones cash from ppc and making life extremly harder to acheive from organic methods? Does Organic really work now or am i having a google dance? One min im on page 2 then page 7 then page 1 again? google is gone nuts?

excuse my rant? im just sooo  any feed apprecated

Honestly... sounds like your in the dance right now. If your on page 2 and then page 7 then back to page 2 then page 4--your dancing.

If you get shuffled all the way to the VERY END of the search listings for your keyword you've been sand boxed.

Keep in mind that Google supposedly had an algo change recently that shuffled some stuff around. That's all hear-say though from what I've gathered from the SEO section on here and the backlink forum run by Terry Kyle.

Google also LOVES fresh, constantly updated content. Those sites could be thrust to the top of the SERP's for that reason. Once they are no longer fresh they will settle into a spot somewhere else.

Organic link building is hard as hell... I personally hate it. It's stressful and what "works" today could go down in flames tomorrow. Relevant links are your best bet, especially from high pagerank dofollow sources.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

Backlinks have been depricated, and now there are secret flags in Google index that track negative variables such as the general neighborhood your backlinks come from. IF you are distantly related to bad spam neighborhoods then it can bring down your entire backlink setup.

But come on, you are talking about fake backlinks, that is black hat stuff anyway. If you pay someone to put 20,000 fake links to your site then why should you get listed anyway? It is much better to focus on good content and value for your site visitors. Besides you can create your own backlinks by using social media to promote your real posts.

I agree with the fellow above "Blogging Pro", he/she says "Relevant links are your best bet, especially from high pagerank dofollow sources." Relevant means "real", as in you are tweeting your own content or someone is putting a real link to you because they like what you do.

All links are from Article Directorys, Blogs with pr 3,4,7 9 and Edu sites and a few profile links but not many.

You missing my whole point i never pay anyone (well only a few known warriors when i have to free up other time constrants for other projects), But My point is the site is 1 backlink 1 page not much info just the niche im in (presuming its a funnel page),

and it sits pretty at Google page one as for bh stuff i am totally white hat i find comments and join in convoations on simalar sites likes mine which i am lead to beleive Google takes into its Judgement if the links are relevance to you own site
so in therory im either being googled Danced around or sanboxed? just for adding content and being the best dam webmaster anyone can be?

As for content i update regurally by Articles i post to site or socal media. yet I bouncing around Google like a Big blown up balloon while other sites with just one link sit pretty'

sent over the month over 200 tweets on accounts also team have bookmarked by stumble also direct traffic is at the lowest From Google Page views are high from referrring traffic sites and links offf/onpage seo work yet not on page one.

Thanks for all your replies Google is its own boss, Lesson to be learned here.

  • I have not seen anyone going down with my services. I am sure there are more factors than what you might think. Probably on-page factors or any other variable
