target how many keywords in 1 page/ article?

Hi guys, I'm doing SEO right now, and I have want to make sure to target the right keywords and not targeting too many keywords.

I have seen several page/ website that rank highly for multiple keywords, and it's easier for us to rank a page/ website/ article for 1 specific keywords.

Should we target more than 1 specific keywords per article/ page/ website? How we want to target multiple keywords for 1 article, what to do?

    I personally only target one keyword phrase for each article. But I wouldn't think it would be bad necessarily to target more than one kw phrase.

    I am using 3 keyword for each article. 3 keyword are the most effective for a article. You should use 2-3 keyword for you article.

    You can use synonyms in your article so focus on more keywords.

    "Today I going to write about bla bla (also called this and this)..."

    This technique will Google tell that there are synonyms for the article you are writing about, which gives you good rankings on those keywords as well.

    It is better te combine synonyms in one article, then write a article about every keyword.
