So, I thought I'd share something I noticed this week in regards to my ranking on Google and the power of the signature links on the Warrior Forum.
I had the #1 spot on Google for a keyword that has 208,000,000 results without quotes and 85,700 results when searched with quotes just to give a little bit of an idea of the competition for the keyword phrase.
I made only ONE change. I removed the link from my signature here on the Warrior Forum to alter my signature a bit. About 3 days later, the ranking slipped to #14 and is holding steady. So, I can assume that simply removing my signature link caused my ranking to drop from #1 to #14 as no other changes were made to the site on page or off page.
Needless to say, I promptly put the link back in my signature on Saturday the 19th and am waiting patiently to watch my site reclaim the #1 spot by simply re-adding my signature link. I will update this thread when this happens in a day or two...
