Out of the two, which is stronger?
.NET ? .ORG ?
And for what purposes? Say for local businesses?
I think I may have run into some rpetty valuable domains, and I'm wondering which ones will be worth the most.
Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Also, what are your traffic calculations before purchasing an exact match domain?
Some of these domains are in a really lucrative niche, with around 5-6K exact match searches per month...Is that enough? Not enough? What do you guys usally run by?

for local business I would prefer your country's tld as well as the hosting of your own country. I myself prefer .net after .com. For search engines I don;t think so that matters a lot. All are equal except .info in eyes of search engines.

i believe .net would be better after .com, its widely used and easy to remember too.

It depends on the niche really but generally speaking they are the same.

bestdvdplayer.net would be better than .org in this case.

    But...

lowerbackpain.org would be better than the .net as it is more related to the niche

SEO wise they are both about the same.

I would say .net - there are many large companies using .net as their domain extension.

    My list of importance is:

    .com
    .net
    .org

personally i don't think its makes a lot of difference however, if its about local business then you would rather go with countries tld, i am getting same traffic for both .com and .info but, no doubt .com looks more good

so for a business in the us? A city based business?
Suppose I wante dto target car dealerships in chicago (example), would I be better off with chicagocardealership.net or chicagocardealership.org ? Or .Us? Is that what you mean by the country TLD extension?

For SEO purposes, the TLD does not matter, so you could rank just as well with a .net as a .org. However, if you're planning to sell the domain to a business, I'd shoot for a .com or .net, as they generally tend to be valued higher than the other TLDs.

Does GODADDY auto price their domains? It seems as if just an hour ago I searched for a domain, the left it alont so that I could ask questions, and all of the sudden it has become a premium domain name, listed for over 5K$...! Seems really strange to me...Has this happened to anyone else before?

As we all know, .com domain is more popular than any other domain extensions. Most people would like to register .com domain for their own websites. Of course, .net and .org are also often used, Comparing with other extension, such as .co, these two seem better. I think it's not very important which extension you choose, since extension doesn't have a great effect on your websites.

I am not denying that fact. I have also seen many infos ranking top in Google but 90-95% of the times you will see only com net org or edu.

Very true. This is simply because .com, .net, and .org are more popular first choices.

I still firmly believe that Google doesn't give you an "extra leg" up depending on whether you choose a .org/.net/.com domain extension or a .info extension.

I could be wrong of course, but seriously -- has anyone ever done an in-depth case study to prove that .info domains come with an inherent ranking disadvantage?

          I sure haven't seen one...

.org has always been my second choice after .com, with the exception of local TLD targeting.

I have had a very strong history of ranking very difficult terms on .org when the .com was not available.

I wont even have a .info anywhere near me...

.net domain extension stand for network. It used for mainly technical website, but it may be used for other type of websites also.
.org domain extension stand for organization. This extension created mainly for non profit organization. However, it can used for other type of website also.
I give the preference to .net first and then .org
