Hi everybody,

If I add articles I've previously released on ezinearticles to a blog, can I mark the content as unique when I sell it on Flippa? Thanks.

  • I'd say no. Even though it's your content, it's not unique for that site.
  • No, it's not unique.
  • As others have replied, if the same content is on ezinearticles and your blog then your blog will not contain unique content.

Since it is your content you can always rewrite it to make it unique so then your claim of unique content will be accurate.

    • This questions when listing your site on Flippa is so general that I would suggest you answer NO unless your content is really a duplicate of another site or an autoblog. There is no option to answer maybe or yes to some content.

I just sold a site on Flippa for a nice price I must say. Flippa said they found one paragraph in a 4000 page website and therefore, showed on the listing page that they had found a second copy of the site. Basically, Flipper likes to protect the buyers and as such, if any of your contents can be found elsewhere then it will be seen as a copy. However, I have found that most buyers do their own due deligence and will see that your site is not a duplicate.

  • There is a little part that will show possible identical websites. Just look at it before buying just to make sure there isn't a duplicate website out there. Sometimes it's like 40 similar words out of 1000 which isn't a big deal.

  • Thanks for your input guys, that's all I needed to know!
