Here's the question, you'll only have to choose one as your backlink:

web 2.0
or
blog network like linkvana, SEOLV, UAW, stuff like that.

which one will win? Only one of them you can sign up...

Blog networks have been good to me.

But I have to also say that I've done far more link-building using blog-networks than I have done web 2.0 stuff.

The bigger web 2.0 sites have one great thing going for them, which is that they also send you actual traffic. A good piece of content on a high-profile web 2.0 can send lots of traffic. A good article to a blog network will create links and nothing else, just like a bad article to a blog network.

The premise of the question seems odd to me. Can you explain the difference between Web2.0 and blog networks as you see it? Or is the difference you are referring to the fact that web2.0 tends to be user account content on higher PR domains?

From where I'm standing its all pretty similar really, its content with links, and the benefit of it being on a web2.0 account site is minimal in most cases.
