Where To Learn Adwords Apart The Search

I am frustrated to learn adwords. I can make the Google search and search partners working just fine. But I want to venture to other parts such as Display network (auto and managed placements) but most of the time after I set the settings, ads are approved and put the keywords and URLs of managed placements. Everything seems right but I am receiving no impressions after a couple of days.

Does they system take that long to match the keywords with the websites they have to finally show my ads on their websites for automatic placement?

Where to learn to correctly set up the display network? CPC base and CPM base. Auto placement and managed placement.

You could try using Google to get more information, but if you have specific questions there is also the ppc section of this forum you use. Maybe ask about books that focus on this area.
