Any Success with Insurance Niche?

Seems like this niche pays well for adsense, however it also looks ultra competitive.

Anyone have success with insurance niche sites?

i tried and it was a pain, the adjustable mortgage niche paid really well and had alot more low competition keywords, on average over $2 a click

I am having a fair amount of success with 1 of my sites in insurance. I'm getting about 700 uniques a day. Conversion moves up and down from 1-3.5%

As far as adsense goes, my CTR is kind of poor but that may be due to the lack of specific placement.

I'm still climbing the SERPS for my keywords. I did it with massive link building, and great SEO. (all the regular stuff)

It's very very competitive, but if you can make it to the front page for a decent keyword you can start expecting some decent money.

Go for a micro small slice initially in highly competitive niches and you'll still do well. Of course it depends on what your definition of 'success' is. To some it's a $1 a day and to others it's hundreds/thousands..
