conversion tracking code in wordpress

hi there!,

I'm doing some PPV advertising and they've given me some tracking code and I was wondering can I just add this to my thank you page via the wordpress page under HTML?

Am i right in thinking that if i put it in the footer it will track all pages, and obviously i don't want to do that.

    I believe you are correct in your thinking that you should put the conversion code onto your thank you page ONLY and not in your footer.
  • Yes, putting in your footer will put the code on every page, you don't want this. However, putting it on your page may require a plugin. If you're using prosper, I think the code is a PHP script. That's not just a cut and paste.

    Also, you have to consider your page dimensions for PPV. A blog page is not likely to fit into the window correctly. I think you will find it easier to use html for PPV. Plus, it will load a lot faster.
