Adsense on Forums Question

I'm just curious. I'm fairly active on a political forum that uses adsense. On any long thread there is a 728 banner at the top of every thread and a 250 adsense block after every post often, a single thread can have dozens of posts, each with an adsense block.

Is this a violation of adsense TOS or am I missing something?

I think its a huge mistake by the owners and it might get their account banned.

Yes that's a breach of google's TOS. Can't have more than 3 on the same page

Generally, google adsense does a pretty good job of preventing more than 3 from appearing. I would be interested to see this one in action.
